In the glass the wine has a beautiful straw yellow color. In the nose fresh citrus fruit (lemon, grapefruit), floral notes and refined use of wood. Very mineral on the palate, elegant acidity and a long finish.

Producer Information

Established since 1988, our 3ha 50 wine estate is located in Vergisson, in the south of Burgundy. Throughout the seasons, we work our vines with respect and precision in order to pick high-quality grapes and obtain fine, complex and elegant wines. Terroir located furthest south of Burgundy composed of marl-limestone and clay soils. Our plots of vines are located in the town of Vergisson on different types of soil and with various exposures. The village of Vergisson is surrounded by vines which are planted up to the steep slopes of the two majestic rocks of Solutré and Vergisson which dominate the local environment. Enthusiastic and determined, the time spent in the vineyards or in the cellar is of little consequence. This energy that drives us is undoubtedly the passion for our profession as winegrowers. Generations of winegrowers have passed down this vineyard dating from the Middle Ages. The cultivation of vines is adapted to our times of course, but we perpetuate the mode of management of the only authorized pruning and known as “the Mâconnais queue pruning”. The vinification is traditional with aging in oak barrels.
