Detailed Description
Detailed Description
Dense and consistent ruby red, on the nose it presents an intriguing aromatic range of blueberry jam and blackberries, floral tones of violet, with dark hints of black pepper and cinchona, liquorice and cardamom emerge in the background. Tasting characterized by Mediterranean heat, in excellent balance between the pulpy consistency and the fresh verve, tannin present but not invasive, with a long spicy persistence.
Producer Information
It was 1960, the period of the sweet life and the economic boom, and in that small ancient village that is Zagarolo, on a tuff hill that rests on the delicate balance between man and nature, Antonio Federici chose to produce wines for that Italy which, after the war, finally wanted to return to toast life! Thus was born the history of this winery, starting from the typical vines of the area: Trebbiano, Malvasia del Lazio, Malvasia di Candia and Grechetto, subsequently joined by Merlot, Montepulciano, Syrah, Cabernet and Sangiovese, to then recover the Bellone and Nero Buono. All Federici's wines are born on that territory protected by a long tradition, more than just 'making wine', a personal commitment that the Federici family signed the day Antonio decided to start this adventure because that's the only way you can carry on the tradition of the territory: cultivating it every day.
