A new offering from a young startup Whiskey maker that’s trying to make a name for themselves in the market with a four-grain bourbon. Made from Corn, Wheat, Malt and Rye, the American Fifth Bourbon is a combination of all four of the main grains in making bourbon. A non-traditional approach to traditional ingredients.
American Fifth Spirits Bourbon Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromas of brown sugar, clove, and maple, with remarkable flavors of vanilla, marzipan, caramel raisin and fig.
Palate: Very light! At 90 proof, it’s higher alcohol on the nose than on the palate.
Finish: The finish takes another jink, opening with tobacco briefly before running turning light, dry and peppery again.
