Distillery Information
"Ardmore Distillery was founded in 1898 by Adam Teacher (son of William Teacher) in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, primarily to supply malt for Teacher's Highland Cream blend, leveraging its ideal spot near peat, water, barley, and a railway for easy transport. It became a cornerstone for Teacher's blend, expanding production with more stills over time, and has seen ownership changes, notably joining Beam Suntory."
