Bologne is the only distillery in Guadeloupe that continues to cultivate black cane. This variety, now forgotten by distillers because of its low yield, is only cultivated by Bologne for its quite exceptional aromatic potential.

Nose: Cane, mango, maracuja

Palate: Banana, pineapple, mango, pear, citrus fruits remain very present.

Finish: The finish is long and tenderly spicy.

Distillery Information

Founded in the early 19th century, this distillery is renowned for its high-quality agricultural rum. The tour begins with a presentation of the lively history of Basse-Terre, followed by the discovery of the traditional manufacturing process.
