Connacht Single Malt Irish Whiskey Batch 1 is the first whiskey to come off Connacht's own copper pot stills. The first release from Connacht Distillery is a wonderfully sweet treat bursting with well-balanced flavours of cinnamon, fudge, and malt. It has been patiently matured for four years, when distillers judged it to be ready for appreciation by whiskey lovers.

The Connacht Distillery is a custom built Irish Whiskey distillery and visitor experience in Ballina, County Mayo that has been making single malt Irish whiskey for over five years. The company management includes spirits industry veterans Tom Jensen, former President and CEO of Remy Cointreau USA, P.J. Stapleton, former Chairman of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, Robert Cassell, master distiller and craft spirit pioneer and Killian O'Sullivan, former CEO of the London Distillery Company.
