Creme Yvette Delicieuse Liqueur Tasting Notes

Nose: Hint of perfume to a boiled sweet, candied nose with aromas of violet drops and berry fruits.

Palate: Slightly syrupy, raspberry pavolvia-like palate (complete with meringue) with violet blossom and a hint of liquorice.

Finish: While the palate is more fruity than floral, the finish sees the violet flavours come to the fore. Very rich – possibly a little overly sweet but this is a faithful reproduction of a great cocktail ingredient of yesteryear.
