Distillery Information

Flor de Caña Distillery, founded in 1890 at the base of the San Cristóbal volcano in Nicaragua, is a family-owned distillery now in its fifth generation. The distillery operates as a single-estate producer, controlling every stage from sugarcane cultivation to bottling. Flor de Caña is known for its slow-aging process, natural maturation without additives, and sustainability-focused production. Over more than a century, the distillery has built a global reputation for producing elegant, age-driven rums that emphasize balance, purity, and long-term craftsmanship rather than excessive sweetness or manipulation.
