The aromas of the barrel give the Speyside gentleman from GLENBURGIE a fresh, pleasant finish. The already very elegant and soft character of the distillate is beautifully reflected in the barrel finish without changing its basic texture and character. On the one hand, there is a striking delicate almond aroma, which is complemented by light lime, salted toffee and grapefruit (typical for white wine finishes). With a good 15 years of storage, the whiskey is far from metallic youth, but still has moderate tannins and a bearable influence of bitter oak.
