Nose: Earthy, sooty smoke makes a bold entrance, resting upon waves of oaken vanilla, peaty grist, butterscotch, Ginger Snap biscuits, and smoked candied almonds.
Palate: Bold and delicious, with dense toffee, Caramac, and marmalade opening the way for hearty, robust peat smoke. Soft stone fruits develop in time, with buttery oak and warming notes of nutmeg.
Finish: Burnt butter, robust oak, fudge, stewed tea, vanilla, cracked peppercorns, sweet peat.
