This Linkwood single malt joins the Glens & Valleys collection from Berry Bros. & Rudd. Distilled in 2010, the whisky spent 14 years maturing, finishing up in a Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead that yielded a total of 285 bottles.

Nose: A rich panorama of scents unfolds, led by raisins and accented with a subtle treacle sweetness.

Palate: The influence of the PX cask is evident on the palate, providing a luxurious texture that cradles the concentrated flavours of dried fruits.

Finish: Spices whisper in the background, enhancing the dram’s depth without overshadowing the foundational sweetness and fruitiness.

Distillery Information

Peter Brown founded the distillery in 1821. At its inception, the site had only two stills, and Whisky operation wasn't entirely legal yet. The distillery formally began operations in 1825, after Whisky distillation was legalized. Brown's original distillery operated with only one wash still and one spirit still.
