Nose: A rich nose with flambéed banana.

Palate: Pineapple, cocoa hints, pepper and tropical spices provided by the higher ester count.

Finish: Long and elegant with a tickle of fire on the finish.

Distillery Information

Mezan is a rum bottler known for its vintage rums from the Caribbean. It focuses on natural flavours, avoiding added sugars or colourants. The cellar master at Mezan travels to find rare rums. This includes rums from closed distilleries like Caroni. Each rum in the collection comes from one distillery and one production year. This gives each rum a unique character. The Mezan XO Jamaica is an exception.
