Plantation 10 Year Old Barbados - Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish Rum | 700ML

A rather excellent rum from the West Indies Rum Distillery, which was initially matured in bourbon casks, before it made its way over to France for a second maturation in Maison Ferrand casks. Following that, it was treated to a finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks, imparting another dimension of rich, fruity notes to the rum. It was then bottled up by Plantation at 49.6% ABV.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: Sweet coffee, blackcurrant, banana, vanilla, roasted almonds and earthy walnuts.

Finish: Rich and smooth.
