Redwood Empire Lost Monarch Straight Whiskey

Lost Monarch is the new name for our original straight whiskey blend. Made from 60% Rye and 40% bourbon, the sweetness from the corn and the spice from the rye balance beautifully to create vanilla, caramel, and delicate maple notes with a butterscotch nose and a light peppery finish. The rye is aged between 3 to 5 years and the bourbon is aged between 4 to 12 years.

Nose: Clove, cinnamon, vanilla, orange citrus zest, and butterscotch

Palate: Sweetness from corn and spiciness from the combine with an almost maple syrup-like flavor.

Finish: Persistent yet subdued peppery finish.

Distillery Information

Redwood Empire's state-of-the-art distillery was built from the ground up on the site of a former apple processing plant in rustic west Sonoma County. At the centerpiece is an innovative, continuous micro-column still custom-built per our specifications.
