Nose: Demerara sugar, forest fruit, dark chocolate, and nutmeg.
Palate: Chocolate-coated raspberries, cinnamon, dates, swiss rolls, toffee apples, and Port-stained oak.
Finish: Cacao powder, black pepper, and blackcurrant jam.
Distillery Information
Scallywag was launched in 2013, its name inspired by a lineage of Douglas Laing family Fox Terriers. The dog that adorns the packaging is Binks, the Laing family's pup who was missing a tooth on the right hand side.
