The result is a magnificent symphony for the senses. The tequila is lavishly endowed with semi-sweet flavors and a thoroughly satisfying, lightly peppered finish.

Nose: Essence of jalapeno.

Palate: Sickly sweet taste that reminds one of cheap canned oriental juice drinks spiked with pepper.

Finish: Lightly peppered finish.

Distillery Information

Located in a small Mexican town called Juanacatlán, Tanteo makes its tequila at a cooperative distillery that employs mostly women and is focused on helping them get ahead and making a positive impact in the local community.Tanteo’s agaves are grown by the members of Tanteo’s distilling cooperative in the fertile soils of Jalisco’s Cienega region.
