The 17 year old edition of Macallan's Fine Oak, showcasing the range of casks in Macallan's extensive warehouses. The Fine Oak expressions are drawn from a trio of cask varieties - American and European oak casks seasoned with Sherry, as well as American oak casks seasoned with bourbon.

Nose: Heady, exotic and floral with a hint of jasmine, tropical fruit and peat.
Palate: Soft and rich with a hint of citrus, spice and wood smoke.
Finish: Lingering with a hint of orange zest.

The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray. The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
