Old Ripy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Old Ripy is a blended Kentucky Straight Bourbon, consisting of whiskeys aging from six to twelve years old. Released as part of the Whiskey Baron Collection, this bourbon is distilled at the the Wild Turkey distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. It is non chill-filtered and bottled at 104 proof. Note: This is sold in 375ml sized bottles.

Old Ripy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromas of vanilla, raisins, toasted oak, apples, and almonds.

Palate: Big oak notes on the palate with well balanced spice.

Finish: The finish is sweet and dry with a short but bright peppery bite.

Distillery Information

In 1869, the Ripy Brothers started distilling on Wild Turkey Hill near Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Their early days went well and their Bourbon — Ripy Brother Bourbon — was selected to represent the State of Kentucky at the Chicago World’s Fair in 1893.
