GIBBSTON VALLEY In just twenty-one vintages, Gibbston Valley Wines has established an outstanding reputation for producing some of New Zealand's finest cool climate wines. Pinot Noir is the best known of these, and the winery has won more awards, trophies and accolades for this variety than any other. But Gibbston Valley Wines' other varieties are also gaining tremendous popularity in their own right - Riesling and Pinot Gris regularly sell out quickly at the Cellar Door as a result of our winemaker's understanding and careful handling of these noble varieties. Gibbston Valley Wines is renowned for the total food and wine experience that can be enjoyed at the winery, which is home to New Zealand's largest underground Wine Cave, opened in 1995.
