        Reviews:

        • Wine Advocate: La Fiorita's 2016 Brunello di Montalcino Fiore di No shows a saturated and nicely enriched presentation with dark ruby highlights. Compared to the estate's classic Brunello, this special selection offers increased concentration and density with blackberry and cherry highlighted by spice, campfire ash and grilled herb. The fruit for this wine comes from three sites: the best part of Pian Bossolino, Poggio al Sole and Giardinello. But like the other wine, Fiore di No has that distinctive sweet spot with cherry, candied orange and sweet baking spice. This limited 3,200-bottle release is characterized by brightness, linearity and increased focus.
        • Wine Spectator: This has sophisticated aromas of fresh and dried blackberries, lavender, cloves and porcini mushrooms. It’s full-bodied with such richness to the fruit and a deep center palate. Firm, ultra fine tannins with dried-flower and spice character. Great length, too.

Fattoria La Fiorita is a wine estate in Montalcino, Tuscany specializing in red wines from the Sangiovese grape variety. Founded in the early 1990s, it has been fully owned since 2014 by American former actress Natalie Oliveros, a part-owner since 2011.On taking over Ms Oliveros instigated a shift to organic viticulture, with certification achieved in 2019. A new vineyard, Giardinello, was planted in 2014, and a new winery and cellar was completed in time for the 2019 harvest. The winery itself lies a short distance to the north of Castelnuovo dell'Abate in the southeast corner of Montalcino. There are just 0.4 hectares (1 acre) of vines on this property, planted around the same time as Giardinello. There are three principal vineyards in different parts of the growing zone, offering varied terroirs.
