Located in the charming town of Mareuil-sur-Ay, Philipponnat is a historical champagne house owned by the Lanson-BCC group since 1997. It was the first champagne producer to clearly label its bottles with the main year used in a blend, its dosage [zero in this case] and date of disgorgement. A blend of 65% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Meunier, Royale Réserve Non Dosé reveals the wine`s full character and purity.

Philipponnat is a historic French Champagne house owned by the family of the same name. The Philipponnat's wine history in the region dates back to the 16th Century when they were growers and merchants, supplying wine to the court of Louis XIV. The company's 18th Century cellars were part of the Château de Mareuil.Philipponnat is particularly known for the Clos des Goisses vintage deluxe cuvées (brut and rosé), produced from and named for a 5.5 hectare (13.6 acre) walled vineyard. Here, an unshaded 45-degree slope facing due south is regarded to provide the region's warmest terroir allowing the grapes to achieve maximal ripening potential.The house's single plot cuvées are a trio sourced from Premier or Grand Cru plots at Le Léon in Ay, Mareuil-sur-Ay and Clos des Goisse. These vintage blanc de blancs have been aged for at least seven years prior to release. The collection also includes the Royale Réserve non-vintage line and a broad selection of styles of vintage wines.
