Ben Nevis 10 Year Old 2012 Benchmark Murray McDavid Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet, floral, nutty notes of nougat, spiced honey, and biscuity malt.

Palate: Sweetly spiced pastries, petal tea, cinnamon buns, and buttery oak.

Finish: A hint of baklava arrives for the finish, with baking spices, elegant oak, and mellow malt.

Distillery Information

The distillery was founded in 1825 by 'Long John' McDonald, a 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) descendant of a ruler of the western Scottish kingdom of Argyll (after whom the renowned blended Scotch, Long John, was named). After Long John's death in 1856, ownership was passed down to Donald McDonald, his son.
