Chattanooga Whiskey | Founder's 14th Anniversary Blend | Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Maraschino cherry, honey graham cracker, vanilla frosting, toasted oak, brown sugar, orange blossom, cinnamon, roasted walnuts, and sweet malt.

Palate: Cream cheese frosting, caramel, honeycomb, dark cherry, butterscotch, toasted bread, roasted pecans, cinnamon, cocoa, gentle rye spice, and a rich, creamy texture.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering caramel, toasted oak, baking spices, roasted nuts, cocoa, sweet malt, and a gentle peppery warmth.

Distillery Information

Founded in 2012, Chattanooga Whiskey Co. played a pivotal role in reviving legal whiskey distillation in Chattanooga after more than a century. Through its well-known "Vote Whiskey" campaign, the company helped change local legislation, allowing distilling to return to Hamilton County for the first time since Prohibition. Today, Chattanooga Whiskey is recognized for its innovative Tennessee High Malt style, emphasizing complex mash bills featuring specialty malted grains alongside traditional corn. The annual Founder's Anniversary Blend has become one of the distillery's signature releases, utilizing three permanent solera barrels that evolve each year to symbolize the company's past, present, and future, making every edition unique while preserving continuity from previous releases.
