Deep, intense amber color. Aromas of irises and jasmine flowers, delicate notes of wood and cigars. Sweet, full and very rich in the mouth. It is full of jams, spicy spices and pepper. Magic in a glass.
Dupuy Auguste Cognac | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Complex and deep, it evokes old furniture, leather and cigar boxes. Warm cloves, tobacco leaf and nutmeg are missed.
Palate: An abundance of rich oak, accompanied by a distinct rancio, dried fruit and dessert wine. The lingering taste of this nectar can last for several hours.
Finish: The lengthy and slightly warm finish has lingering cinnamon and oak spice notes.
Distillery Information
It was in 1852 that the house was established by Auguste Dupuy, succeeded by Edmond Dupuy in 1895. In 1905, two Norwegian men, Peter Rustad and Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen, take over the destiny of the firm. While continuing the "Dupuy" brand, they launch their own brand "Rustad & Bache- Gabrielsen" on the Scandinavian market.
