This has matured for 14 years in American white oak, before spending a further two years in ex-Amoroso Oloroso sherry casks. Named after the people of Jura - the 'Diurachs' - because it’s their dram of choice and just like the Diurachs, it’s full of character. With such a proud and passionate heritage behind this whisky, it comes as no surprise that the Diurachs' own symbol stamps every bottle with approval.
Jura 16 Year Old Diurachs' Own Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Fragrant, slightly floral with a hint of orange. Mixed nuts, fruits, dark chocolate and spice.
Palate: Rich and round, also slightly oily with more chocolate and honeyed orange.
Finish: Lingering rich chocolate on the tongue, also some oak and orange in the finish.

Jura distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery on the island of Jura in the Inner Hebrides off the West Coast of Scotland. The distillery is owned by Glasgow founded and based Whyte and Mackay, which in turn is owned by Philippines-based Emperador Inc.
