The Luis Cañas Rioja Gran Reserva 2017 is a full-bodied red wine made from 100% Tempranillo grapes grown in the Rioja region of Northern Spain. It is aged for 24 months in American and French oak barrels, giving it a deep ruby red color and aromas of dark fruit, baking spices, and dried herbs. On the palate, it is velvety and smooth, with hints of blackberry, cherry, and plum, as well as a slight smokiness and a long, lingering finish. This wine is the perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, stews, and aged cheeses.
