This single cask expression from independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. was distilled at Skye's Talisker distillery in 2010. Matured in a sherry butt for 7 years before bottling in 2018, only 810 bottles have been produced. Presented at a strength of 46% abv, free from chill-filtration and artificial colouring.

Nose: The nose has a fresh maritime character, with peat, pepper and liquorice.
Palate: The palate brings sweet fruits, peat and sea salt.
Finish: A long and sweet finish, with smoke, ash and a touch of citrus..
Distillery Information
Talisker Distillery is heavily influenced by its location on the Isle of Skye — it embodies the spirit of the rocky, storm-lashed island and its strong, steadfast people. The distillery was founded in 1830 by Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill, who leased the Talisker House from Clan MacLeod and eventually converted it into a distillery.
