123 Blanco Tequila | 700ML

A superb unaged Tequila from 123, which is also organic, no less! It's produced with agaves that are harvested at around 10 years old and naturally fermented. With a focus on sustainability, the bottles are made from recycled glass and labelled with recycled paper, which is pretty neat. This vibrant expression is good enough to sip neat, though should you want to mix it we reckon let it shine in a cocktail where the grassy freshness can really come through!

Nose: Earthy grassy notes and sweeter roasted agave, with lemon peel, hints of olive and a pinch of salt and black pepper.

Palate: Earthy and citrus flavors found on the palate with wet clay, petrol, lemon peel, and sharp black pepper making impressions.

Finish: Complex and delicate and long finish.

123 Organic Tequila begins its journey to your glass as sweet juice pressed from the roasted heart of the Blue Agave. Like pulque, the sacred ceremonial drink of the Aztecs, this sweet mosto is fermented and then transformed by the careful art of distillation into the purest 100% Blue Agave tequila. Grown on the same ancient volcanic soils that once sustained the Aztecs, the agave plantations that flourish on their hacienda near the town of Tequila have been sustainably cultivated for centuries and from these pristine estate fields comes the expressive character of 123 Organic Tequila (Uno Dos Tres).
