2010 | Domaine Marius Delarche | Pernand-Vergelesses Blanc

This lovely Chardonnay comes from a single plot 'Les Combottes'. Medium-bodied with notes of zesty lemon, white peach, green apple, and a flinty minerality.

Producer Information

Etienne Delarche operates a 9 ha family estate in the communes of Pernand-vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton. It was Marius, the grandfather who took over the vines from his wife Jeanne in the 1950s. Then his son Philippe, in 1987, gave new impetus by planting new plots and building a vat room-cellar complex on 3 levels. It was after his death in 2008 that Etienne settled down. In 2016, the Domaine wanted to expand the range of wines offered by creating a trading company. After purchasing the grapes at harvest time, Etienne vinifies them in the same way as the Domaine's vintages to bring you as much pleasure. In 2020, Etienne wanted to add a stone to the building by expanding the vat room over 4 levels, the highest level reserved for a tasting room facing the Colline de Corton.
