Producer Information
Walter Massa, better known as the father of Timorasso, there on the Tortona hills, is an independent winemaker. It was the '70s when he decided to take over the reins of the family winery, and since then, effort after effort, he has managed to relaunch the success of the Colli Tortonesi area, that is, that small strip of Piedmontese land nestled between Monferrato and the Beyond that. Contrary to all forms of bureaucracy and always against the current, Walter is convinced that wine is made in the vineyard and in the cellar, not with brands and documents, for this reason he has chosen not to resort forcibly to denominations shown on labels, thanks to his consolidated reputation as true wine craftsman.
