Benromach's Peat Smoke expressions have long been rather popular, and now the series is enjoying its first variation - Peat Smoke Sherry Cask Matured! Peat and sweet come face to face in this 2010 vintage single malt, which was matured in first-fill sherry hogshead until 2018. It was bottled at cask strength, and 6,500 bottles were produced.

Nose: Honey cured meats and orange zest, with vanilla, chocolate and dried fruits.
Palate: Sweet with warming white pepper, stewed prunes, sultanas and raisins before rich sherry and a hint of ginger.
Finish: Long and lingering with gentle waves of peat smoke.
Distillery Information
Benromach is a Speyside distillery founded by Duncan McCallum and F.W. Brickman in 1898 and currently owned and run by Gordon and Macphail of Elgin. It is situated near Forres in Morayshire and is fed with spring water from the Chapelton Springs in the Romach Hills beside
