Culper Bros selects single barrels that were distilled in Indiana and then transports them to Britain for bottling, resulting in a deliciously transatlantic expression that pays tribute to the historic spying networks of New York during the American revolution.

Nose: Fresh apples, buttered corn, and a hint of sawdust, with creamy vanilla custard in tow.

Palate: A good balance of sweet, toffee popcorn, toasted almonds, and charred oak, with silky layers of cream balancing delicate spice.

Finish: Caramel lingers, accompanied by oaken vanilla and butterscotch, while a dash of pepper and candied ginger dwell in the depths.

Distillery Information

Culper Bros. draws inspiration from the American Revolutionary spy network established by General George Washington and Major Ben Tallmadge. Agents of the network moved amongst British society in New York, listening from the shadows whilst stealing secrets to keep Washington one step ahead of the red coats. The intelligence they gathered kept Washington’s flag, blue with thirteen white stars, flying over victories against superior forces. Success against the odds is embedded in the histories of both nations, and it’s what Culper Bros. is all about.
