Passion fruit is every bit as sexy as its moniker; slightly sweet, citrusy, and with a golden yellow juice. Fortunately, nature decided to grow these delicious things on our island, and we were smart enough to use them in Don Q Pasión. We infuse our premium rum aged 1 to 1½ years with the natural essential flavor and extraction of real passion fruit, making a flavored rum that stands alone as well as it mixes with pineapple, guava, or peach nectar. Mix.

Nose: Bright, tropical passion fruit bouquet with wonderful owery notes.

Palate: Peachy avors and soft enveloping texture compliment the rich passion fruit avor.

Distillery Information

Don Q Rum is a Puerto Rican rum brand produced by the Destilería Serrallés company in the city of Ponce on the southern coast of the country. The brand takes its name from the Spanish literary character Don Quixote and was officially launched in 1934 following the end of the Prohibition era. Don Juan Serrallés first began making rum under his family name in 1865, after buying a sugar-cane plantation and importing a pot still from France. In 1935, a large-scale distillery was constructed, and the brand underwent a significant expansion with the acquisition of Puerto Rican Distillers, Inc. in 1985. In 2006, Destilería Serrallés was relaunched in the USA.
