Owned by the Labet and Déchelette families, Château de La Tour is a wine producer and building located within the walls of the iconic Clos de Vougeot. Crafted from the finest grapes of the Clos, this rare 1979 vintage Fine de Bourgogne showcases the elegance and complexity of its terroir.

Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.

Palate: Luscious notes of honeyed stone fruits blend seamlessly with layers of caramel and toasted oak

Finish: Great elegance and length on the finish.

Distillery Information

Château de la Tour boasts a long history from the late 19th century. The original building was constructed in 1890 by a merchant whose daughter married a local estate owner, Jean Morin. He was a local legend, famous for his wine and passion for sport; Morin took part in both the Summer and Winter Olympics in 1948.
