He earned the nickname “Calico Jack” because of his taste for clothes made of brightly colored Indian Calico cloth. While he made a career of plundering small vessels, he is most remembered for having two female crew members Mary Read and his lover, Anne Bonny.

Nose: Dried fruit, Caramel, Tropical, fruit, Honey, Toffee, Pecan.

Palate: Tropical fruit, Toffee, Cream, toffee, Spicy, Licorice, Cinnamon.

Finish: Dried fruit, Peppery, Allspice, Green pepper, Spice Cinnamon.

Distillery Information

The Foursquare Rum distillery is located on the tiny Caribbean Island of Barbados. It was opened by the Seale family in 1996 as the only Barbadian owned distillery in Barbados. Foursquare distillery is now run by Richard Seale, 4th generation Trader/Distiller of R.L Seale & Co.
