The 16th release of Glenfiddich's series of incredible 40-year-old whiskies, bottled in 2019. Vatted from a selection of excellent casks as well as the saved remnants of previous year's vattings. Incredibly complex with notes of fruit cake, dates, raisins and stewed apples.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.

Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish.

Finish: This is a very light and refreshing malt.

Distillery Information

Glenfiddich is one of three William Grant-owned whisky distilleries which sit in relatively close proximity to each other to the north of Dufftown, the spiritual heart of Speyside. Founded in 1886, by William Grant Balvenie fame, the Glenfiddich distillery is currently one of but three distilleries to bottle on site, and houses stills with a total annual capacity of 13 million litres.
