Ixa Organic tequila is made from a base of 100% organic tequila using traditional clay oven baking methods. The anejo is the aged (or "anejo") spending at least 12 months in oak for adding whiskey-like character to the agave flavor. The label is owned by GreenBar Collective but produced in Mexico (as all tequila must be).
IXA Greenbar Organic Anejo Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: Flowery, citrus fruit, caramel, chocolate and a little smoke.
Palate: Smooth, soft with a bit of spice, orange peel, earth accents and oak.
Finish: Quite long, with notes of black pepper and citrus.

Founded in 2004, Greenbar Distillery is LA’s first since Prohibition and one of the first craft distilleries in the U.S. The Greenbar Distillery products are fresh, flavorful and easy-to-drink spirits. They are soft on the palate with beautiful finishes and no burn. And they can all be mixed and matched to create simple cocktails.
