Seriously impressive Bas Armagnac from L'Encantada, produced with grapes from Domaine Cutxan in 1999! After a lengthy period of ageing it was bottled at cask strength (not at all common practise in Armagnac), with 723 bottles released at 44.3% ABV.

Nose: Impressive and charming nose.

Palate: A very pleasant, rich and smooth taste in the mouth. Lovely texture.

Finish: Peppery warmth on the finish.

L'Encantada is an independent bottler (negociant) in Armagnac dedicated to preserving rare and unusual styles. Vincent, Fred and Christelle therefore fill all casks at cask strength and without additives. Look forward to very unusual bottlings, which will inspire you with their individuality!
