Impressive Speyside single malt from Miltonduff, distilled back in 1990 and left to mature for over three decades. After resting in a single hogshead cask, it was bottled in 2023 for the Berry Bros. & Rudd Exceptional Casks series, without colouring at 54.1% ABV.

Nose: Bright, crisp apple and tropical coconut, with stone fruit sweetness.

Palate: Spiced nuts bring depth to fresh peach, lemon blossom, and honey.

Finish: A little oak spice and more juicy peach.

Distillery Information

Andrew Peary and Robert Bain founded Miltonduff distillery in 1824. The distillery had previously operated illicitly on the site since the turning of the century, but following the passing of the Excise Act, Peary and Bain established the distillery as a legitimate business operation.
