Deep red in the glass with a pronounced bouquet of red fruit, violets and earth, medium bodied, with good depth of fruit, firm tannins and energy on the palate.

Producer Information

Paul-Joseph Cyrot, at the time manager of Château de Pommard then Clos de Tart in Morey-Saint-Denis, created the Domaine in the 1920s. In addition to his activity in these two prestigious properties, he acquired vines in Pommard. Four generations have succeeded one another since then at the Domaine, each bringing new plots of vines: Burgundy, Volnay, Maranges 1er Cru, Santenay 1er Cru, Pommard and Pommard 1er Cru, exceptional terroirs for Pinot Noir. In 1989, Olivier, his great-grandson, took over the Domaine. With his wife Fabienne, they operate and market the 6 ha 35 of the family estate.
