        Producer Information

        It took Robert Wessman more than a decade to find the right building for his ideas as a winemaker. The 12th-century Saint-Cernin Castle offered the best opportunity for the future Maison Wessmann winery , since wine had been made here since the Middle Ages. This was joined by the associated plots in the Perigord, which proved to be perfect for growing the vines. Together with his wife Ksenia, he managed to redefine the legacy of the ancient wine region and found the Maison Wessmann winery . They now grow red wines in the Périgord region on the Issigeac terroir, and grapes for their white wine grow on the edge of the French Pyrenees.It wasn't long ago that that was allowed Weingut Maison Wessmann are happy about the purchase of the Vignoble des Verdots. But already the basis of the cultivation of their existing grape varieties know how to shine at the highest level. Robert Wessman always focuses on the highest quality when it comes to grapes, because they ultimately ensure that his wines are internationally recognized and even convince experts.
