Producer Information
The first traces of the Servin family in Chablis date back to 1654. With more than seven generations of winemakers, ploughmen and coopers behind you, at Domaine Servin you will always be dedicated to the vine. Domaine Servin produces incomparable wines from the best terroirs located in the commune of Chablis itself, taking advantage of its special microclimates to produce one of the finest Chardonnays in the world. Traditional winemaking is an important part of the success of the wines of Domaine Servin. Some of your best vintages are vinified in oak barrels to enhance their intrinsic character, others in stainless steel tanks to preserve their finesse and freshness in the mouth. Only Chardonnay is grown on the limestone slopes. The wine produced is marketed under the name Chablis. It is fruity, dry and has a refreshing acidity. Chablis generally has a green-gold color. Although the wines are all from the same grape variety, they are still very variable as the winemakers use very different methods to produce their wines. Currently, the Domaine is world-renowned as one of the largest winemakers in the Chablis region, with a vineyard of 36 hectares. 39 great vineyards in the most famous areas of Chablis are in your possession, all the appellations of the Chablis production in one enumeration: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Vieilles Vignes "SĂ©lection Massale", your six Chablis 1er Cru MontĂ©e de Tonnerre, Mont de Milieu, Vaucoupin, Vaillons, ForĂȘts and Butteaux. As well as your four Chablis Grand Cru with Les Preuses, Bougros, Blanchot and Les Clos.
