Calvados Adrien Camut Prestige has a deep amber colour with an immediate nose of Christmas spices, vanilla and caramelised apple. Well-structured on the palate, well-developed rancio and a big warming mouth feel. Less influence of apple at the finish, now joined by plum and prune notes, but still well-integrated and showing great finesse.

Aged for between 40 and 50 years, Adrien Camut distil this the family's stills, one of which was made in the 1920s! The spirit enters the barrels at 62%abv, and after maturation this offers up notes of apple, plum and prune. Just fantastic!

Distillery Information
Since the 1800s, the Camut family has grown 115 acres of 4,000 apple trees in the Pays d'Auge. It was Adrien Camut who perfected the family’s distillation methods using different pot stills, the eldest from the 1920s and the most recent from 1975. While pears are allowed in Calvados, only apples grown in the Camut orchards are used in Camut Calvados.
