Nose: Orange peel, raspberries, butterscotch, salted caramel, vanilla, honey, sweet malt, and gentle oak.

Palate: Creamy vanilla, salted butter, sweet pastry, caramel, raspberry, citrus, honey, and soft oak spice.

Finish: Smooth and rounded, with lingering vanilla, buttery sweetness, salted caramel, citrus, and gentle oak.

Distillery Information

Bimber Distillery was founded in 2015 in Park Royal, northwest London, with whisky production beginning in 2016. The distillery follows a distinctive farm-to-bottle philosophy, sourcing its barley from a single farm and carrying out traditional floor malting and slow fermentation. Bimber uses direct-fired copper pot stills and carefully selected casks to create a distinctly fruity and characterful London single malt. The Shoulders of Giants series was introduced to honour influential thinkers, innovators, and visionaries throughout history, with each single-cask release dedicated to a different figure. Ada The Visionary celebrates Ada Lovelace, the pioneering English mathematician and writer widely regarded as an early pioneer of computer programming.
