Bone Snapper Rye whiskey is distilled from 95% rye, 5% malt, and limestone-filtered water from Southern Indiana. It is aged for 2 years in new American oak barrels. Only 20 barrels are selected at a time to be batched together and bottled at 108 proof. No chill-filtration. No mystery ingredients. Just great rye whiskey with a bold, spicy flavor bottled at 108 proof. Every bottle of Bone Snapper Rye delivers a smooth, consistent punch that is the reward for anyone who has put in a hard day’s work and earned the right to drink a Rye, served neat or in a classic cocktail.

Distillery Information

Jos. A. Magnus & Co. distillery was re-established in 2015, but the legacy of Joseph Magnus Bourbon dates back to the 1890s. After Magnus' great-grandson rediscovered an old bottle of his ancestor's whiskey amongst family heirlooms, the idea was hatched to revive the art of finished bourbon. Joseph Magnus Bourbon is comprised of 12-year-old bourbon from MGP in Indiana and triple-cask finished over several months in Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximenez sherry, and Cognac casks at the Jos. A. Magnus & Co. distillery in Washington, D.C.
