This fine single cask expression comes to us from family-run indie bottler Hunter Laing & Co. Sporting a new look for the Old and Rare series, this expression was distilled in October 1989 at Bunnahabhain distillery on Islay and matured for three full decades in a single refill hogshead. Bottled in October 2019, just 140 bottles have been filled, each one at a natural cask strength of 44.9% abv.

Distillery Information

The Bunnahabhain Distillery (Scottish Gaelic: Taigh-staile Bun na h-Abhainne, [t??'s?t?al? pun?'hav??]) was founded in 1881 near Port Askaig on Islay. The village of Bunnahabhain was founded to house its workers. Since 2014 the distillery has been owned by Distell[2] and is one of nine active distilleries on the island.
