A fantastic independently bottled single malt from Caperdonich, brought to us by La Distillerie Générale! This peated expression was distilled in December 1997 and allowed to mature in a single American oak barrel for 20 years, until the cask was cracked open to release a total of 468 350ml bottles, each adorned with an elegant embroidery style design on its label.

Nose: Coastal breeze and crisp green apples with a good whiff of bonfire smoke.
Palate: Seaweed salinity and bold, ashen peat with grilled fruits, spicy anise, dark berries, and burning embers.
Finish: The smoke lingers with earthy peat and toasted oak, alongside warming spice and bold, nutty malt.
