Four Gate Kelvin Collaboration III Batch 12 is the third iteration of the series. To craft this dazzling blend of a 9-year-old with a mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 8% malted barley Kentucky Straight Bourbon and 12-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon with a mash bill of 74% corn, 18% rye and 8% malted barley, Four Gate decided to use the popular dual-use finish barrels that once held both fortified wine and dark rum, namely PX Sherry-Rum casks from Virago Spirits in Richmond, VA.
