A rare bottling of whisky from short-lived Lowland distillery Glen Flagler. They closed in 1985 after only 19 years of operation and this is one of a pair of bottlings that Signatory released in the mid-1990s, one of only a handlful of bottlings released since the closure.

Nose: Some floral and malty hints.
Palate: The initial rush of peat and wood smoke is followed by a gentle sweetness with hints of spice.
Finish: Smooth & lingering.
Distillery Information
Glenflagler Distillery, (also known as Glen Flagler) located in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, Scotland, produced the Lowland single malt whisky Glen Flagler. Glen Flagler distillation commenced on 25 February 1965 and the distillery was subsequently closed in July 1985. The Glen Flagler brand has subsequently been reformed under new ownership, and using a blend of Scotch whiskies to recreate the original flavours.
