Here we have a single cask rum hailing from Grays Distillery in Mauritius, distilled in 2008. It was matured in a bourbon barrel for most of its time, though spent its last two years in a Port cask. In August 2019, the folks over at 1423 in Denmark bottled it up at 54.8% ABV for the Single Barrel Selection, with an outturn of 286 bottles.

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Finish is lingering.
